Deploying multiple replicant values
chandu1987
Hi,
I am trying to deploy the contents from one DCR to multiple tables,the DCR is having nested replicants.i need to deploy the replicant values into multiple rows in one table.Please find the attached DCR and dd configiguration files for reference.
In the table2 i need to insert APPNAME,ROLE column values as multiple roles from the dcr replicants.As with this i am not getting any errors and data is not inserting into tables. Could anybody please help me to solve this,i am trying from past one and half day.

A day and a half isn't that bad when you're having fun with DataDeploy
The problem is with your foreign key mapping. The parent table must be something that has a row for each instance of "USERS/0/Applications/[0-5]" and necessarily must have a unique key for it as well. Assuming you've mapped it this way, your parent-column attr should be referencing the only thing that's unique about the parent group, which is the <country>.

Hi Poulin,
Thanks for your reply.As i defined in ddconfig i am inserting only one row for each DCR into the parent table,here USERID is the primary key with some other info i will be having in my DCR.
This USERID will be the foreign key in child tables so in this scenario i need to insert multiple rows in to my child table with the APP ID,USERID and ROLEID as the composite primary key.
Now the problem i am facing is unable insert the multiple replicant values in to DB.Can you please elaborate how to do this thing?
Thanks in advance.

I'm not positive about this - I don't do a lot of work with DataDeploy (if I can avoid it) - but I seem to recall that you need at least one non-primary key specified in the table in order for it to work.
Can you try adding another column in your table, another entry in your DD config (even if it is ignored for all other purposes) and see if that works?
Also - and perhaps even beforehand - post the DD log file - perhaps there's some other issue involved that has been overlooked.
worries
try this for Roles Column
<column name="ROLE" data-type="VARCHAR2(4)" value-from-field="USERS/0/Applications/[0-5]/Application/[0-5]/Roles[0-4]/Role" allows-null="yes" is-url="no" list-field="USERS/0/Applications/[0-5]/Roles" list-to-replicant="yes"/>
if not post your DCT code and full DD config.
