SSI for proxy

Hi,

The SSI statements that I have in my component XSL do not work when I preview the page or even when the page is in edit mode. There are a lot of posts which talk about having two skins for this. BUT.... is there any other way SSI can be enabled for page preview atleast if not for edit mode. I read somewhere that iwproxy does not parse SSI includes. So my first question is: Can SSI be enabled for iw-proxy and will it be enough to show the includes during page preview?
