Hi everyone,The scenario is that my client's requirements keep changing now and then.-->Now we have 20 DCTs and a common container Links in all of them.On requirement change, i have to make the change in 20 DCTs.-->What i would like is, somehow if i create container Links in a DCT named "A" and then at form init render A's container Links in all the other DCTs. -->Now i went through the manuals but i couldnt find the exact solution to meet my need. i even searched through few threads but no success again..Please help me out as the clients fickle needs are freaking me out!! Better to move container items to inline xml file, invoke the xml file using inline command in datacapture.cfg. Whenever changes requires, you will change the common xml, it will be referenced in all the 20 DCT's.It has limitation:1. Once you move the container as inline xml then inside inline execution wont happen if inline xml contains.ie multilevel inline execution wont supported. what ever inline you configured in cfg only executed.
Hey Jagan thanks for replying.. i guess the problem with Inline is that in my container Links i have 2 text boxes.. and i think the inline works only with radio, select and checkbox.
Inline will work for container level and root container level as well.You can implement inline for root container or container level as well.
Inline calls work pretty much anywhere within a DCT - the DTD didn't have a decent way of expressing it since it's handled by a pre-processor and not (strictly speaking) part of the XML DTD itself.
