Error in Open Deploy Reciever

Hi
We did iwodserverstatus in od-home/bin and got the following error.

/opt/od-home/OpenDeployNG/jre/bin/java: error while loading shared libraries: libpthread.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Strangely this error is coming on only one receiver and we havent made any changes. Does anyone has any idea about this error.

It helps if you indicate what OS you're on and what version of OD you're using (and whether that OS is 32-bit or 64-bit).
It also might help if you run iwodcmd serverstatus rather than iwodserverstatus.
In either case, there was a posting not too long ago (yesterday? the day before?) by Nipper, providing information about OS CLTs that you could run to find more information about missing libraries and what you can do about ensuring that their location is on the PATH environment.

OD version is 6.0.0 and it is installed on a linux machine.

I checked the OD rcvr logs and found the following error :

SVR 06000: 2011-12-14 09:06:14 GMT+00:00 Starting OpenDeploy RMI registry on port '9173'.

SVR 06005: 2011-12-14 09:06:14 GMT+00:00 ***ERROR - Error starting OpenDeploy RMI registry.
Reason: Port already in use: 9173; nested exception is:
java.net.BindException: Address already in use

SVR 06006: 2011-12-14 09:06:14 GMT+00:00 OpenDeploy RMI registry FAILED.

Wondering if this error relates to the one i mentioned before.

OD rcvr is just not ready to get up and running Smiley Sad

Any input guys.....

If your Receiver is running on SuSE Linux, please complete the post-installation steps as per the OpenDeploy release notes. I referred Page #22 of OD Release notes v6.1.

Also try to execute CLT after setting env variable LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/opt/od-home/OpenDeployNG/jre/bin.

In addition to what marz suggested, try to completely stop the receiver process and then try to restart it - I've seen OD occasionally get into a weird state in which it isn't fully running, but it isn't fully stopped either, and you cannot restart it without first getting it to a fully stopped state.
