WFM:registering and using a DataSource

Hi,

Env: TeamSite 6.7.1 SP1 and WFM 1.0.0.1 and Solaris 10.

I have a DataSource registered in DataSourceConfig.xml as below

TS User Picker
com.****.datasource.MapUserPicker
master
****
http://****:80
com.interwoven.cssdk.factory.CSLocalFactory

and
the same DataSource I am calling from custom_instantiation.cfg
[html]

Author
Select a user from the list to assign the workflow job

[/html]

Note: Param "Role" is different in custom_instantiation.cfg

Question:
When I invoke a workflow in the instantiation form I am getting only the 'master' users. how should I get 'editor' role users in the instantiation form? and I want to use the same DataSource.

You should need to change role in DataSourceConfig.xml file.

If you want to show multiple role's users then you can use delimeter ",' for seprating two roles.

In the workflow instantiaon form I need to dispaly only that particular branch editors in the select list.

You have to write custom java code for your requirement and then register this class in DataSourceConfig.xml file.

You should go through the WFM user guide. There is a good example for writing a custom DataSource implemention.

I have resolved my problem by commenting out Role parameter in DataSourceConfig.xml
