Page refresh after 6.7.1 patch7

After applying the patch 7 on 6.7.1 but we are encountering the following issue. Like when you select a file and start the "Submit Workflow" after clicking on "Run Job" the parent page doesn't refresh. Which means that check box still remains checked and shows the file still as modified. I saw an aritcle on support site. This is the same issue we are having, but the difference is even with IE 6 we are encountering this issue.

iw-home\httpd\webapps\content_center\base\util\refresh_done_target_and_close_window.jsp is the file that works with the parent and calls the refresh. Where you go from there is up to you. If you want to change it, then put your final changes in customer_src. Just keep a note of you changes for future upgrades.

I am also getting the same issue what you have faced regarding apge refresh. In my env. after submit workflow the main page of teamsite is not getting refreshed. So if there was lock or modification sighn it is stiil there even after workflow complet successfuly. Can you please share the solution you have used for this solution?

Hi Sumit,

Here is the solution. I found a bug in refresh_done_target_and_close_window.jsp that resides under httpd/webapps/content_center/base/util/. The eval function which is trying to get a list of frames wasn't returning the parent window value.

Here is the Interwoven code that has the bug


try
    {
        opener_target = eval(frameRefStr + "window.opener." + opener_target_expr);

    }

Comment the above line and add this one


try
{
opener_target = eval(frameRefStr + "window.opener." + "fs_get_list_frame()");
}

In order to make it to the webapps folder. create this folder structure \local\config\lib\content_center\customer_src\web\base\util and copy the JSP file that's in httpd\webapps\content_center\base\util make changes and perform a make_toolkit
