Hi,

I am using Teamsite 6.7.1 and OD 6.2.1 on windows 2003. I am using transactional deployments to deploy content from source server to 4 load balanced target servers. I want to know in case the deployment fail on one server can I get the name/ip of that server on which the deployment has failed?

You should be able to figure out which server(s) failed by looking at the log files (contents and the names of the log files)

Thanks for your reply. But the log file only gives me that deployment failed on one node but doesn't actually gives me the name/ip of that node.

There are multiple log files you should be looking at. The od-home/log directory contains two types of logs for each deployment. Macro deployment logs which look like "src.MYDEFINITION.log" only provide an overview of the deployment definition. You should also have one Micro deployment log per logical target, named like "src.MYDEFINITION.LocalHostName.to.TargetHostName.log" which would tell you about the transaction with that specific server. If you have 4 targets, then just open up each of those 4 Micro logs and find the one(s) that reports a failure.
