Inserting Date time format in to DB

swathi

I want to insert date time format value (yyyy-MM-dd HH:mm:ss) in to the DB field of datetime.
i was able to insert only date, but when i try to append time its not inserting properly in DB.
when i give 2010-3-24 12:12:12 internally its converting to 2010-12-17 12:00:00

Provide more details -- which products are you using, versions, etc. How are things getting inserted into the DB? What is the source? etc.

using version TeamSite 6.7.1.
db field type id datetime, format 2009-07-24 12:55:43.000

Are you using DD or direct JDBC calls or some other mechanism? You need to provide much more information/details rather than a "2-fragment" answer. That'll be helpful in assiting you.
