automated migration of Assets from Teamsite to MediaBin through scripts.

Hi,
I want to migrate all our digital assets (images etc,) from Teamsite to MediaBin.Is it Possible? I also want to know if we can write automated scripts(perl etc.) to do the same instead of doing it manually .
Can anyone guide me on how to go about it .

The ECM connector is a pull technology from MediaBin in to TeamSite, the opposite is not true.

Both tools provide file-system type view. You can select an entire folder structure from Y drive (or mapped network share representing /iwmnt, in case of Solaris) and drag-n-drop straight into MediaBin Native Client for bulk ingest.
