Web CMS (TeamSite)
domain not showing up on login page
System
Hi,
I'm using TS 5.5.2 on Win2K.
Sometimes (I guess afer I switch between the cluster servers), my domain name disappears from the domains list box.
I've added the domain in the domain_list attribute of [iwserver] section of iw.cfg
Although I can see in the log files that the domain name was in fact added.
The log file iwtrace.log reads like following

Is there any way to force the system to re-read the domain list?
Are there any other log files where I can find more info?
TIA

We have had similar experiences. Typically the system will not lose the whole domain, but rather individual users. We have tried everything (?) to get that user's id to be recognized again, but in the end, we have to reboot, and remove the user from the entities database and re-add them before the system will recognize them.
It sounds like you are losing your whole domain connection where ours just becomes corrupt.

This may also happen if you've got a busy network or the PDC on one of your domains is slow.
A workaround is to specify the domains you want to show up in the list box in the domain_list parameter of the "[iwcgi]" section of /etc/iw.cfg.
This parameter only affects the list box on the login screen and is different from the domain_list parameter in the "[iwserver]" section which tells the server what domains to query for user and group information.
