I am working with ccstd and i want to know if there is a way to restrict the type of files that are displayed in the "Work in Progress" portlet on the ccstd home screen.
--> I need to display only the output generated files in "Work in Progress" section and not the DCRs.
--> Also sometimes randomly all the files in "Work in Progress" section becomes readonly, as in i am not able to click on them(to open them in view mode), however i can edit them by clicking edit in front of each file. I dont know why this is happening but i would like to get hold of this functionality.

I would be really thankful for any help.

Write your own portlet and you can have full control over what shows up there - and also over diagnostic logging so that you might be able to figure out the other issue too.

If you know how to get your hands on the source code for this portlet you can easily modify it to filter by file extension.

Well honestly i dont know how to get hold of the portlet file. i have worked around trying to get the .jsp file for the teamsite functionalities, but for portlet, i dont, but i am on it, Lets see. Thanks a lot for your help.
