I have a user who seems to consistently see an 'old' view of his workarea. He sees files that have been deleted, etc. I look at the same workarea and directory from my workstation and the files are not there.
The problem seems to come and go. Nothing he does with his browser (clearing the cache, logout, close browser, etc) does any good.
Any ideas on what the problem might be?

2 questions:
1. Which browser/version?
2. What are the settings on user's browser for page refresh?
Thanks!

We're having a similar problem. We were going to upgrade to IE 6, but during testing we have run into problems. In our workflows we call iwmetadata.cgi several times. The first time someone sets metadata in the workflow, the data displays correctly in the cgi window. The 2nd time, the form is entirely blank. The metadata is on the server - we can see it with iwextattr -l. It seems like it's just not displaying.
We had similar problems in IE 5.5, but setting the "Every visit to the page" option fixed the issue. It doesn't seem to work in IE 6. Is there some other setting that needs to be changed too??

Our client had the same problem. In this case it had to do with the (caching on) the clients proxyserver. It's worth checking out..
