Getting extra div tags when HTML is generated

Hi Everyone,
When I tried to generate HTML for an already created page, some extra div tags are coming in the generated HTML, which I got to know when viewed the source code of the HTML. Could you please post here how to remove those extra div tags or what needs to be done?

Could you please provide a sample of your fixed area layout and the skins for the components on the page? When you say "extra" divs, I am assuming that you mean divs that are not accounted for by the rendering of the layout xml into HTML - is that a correct assumption?

Is there any solution to this problem? I am getting extra tags in generated HTMLs: something like div class="ls-cmp-wrap ls-st". How can I remove them?

although this is about LiveSite/SitePublisher dynamic pages so may not be exactly the same for generated pages. Anybody?
