problem with generators for single select

I am using generators for populating two singleselect datums. Here based on one dropdown value other dropdown should be populated. I am getting NullpointerException in servlet_out.log, i am attaching log file and java file.

problem is on selection of first dropdown value second one is not triggering(filling). if we click apply and reload the form at that time second dropdown is getting updated with required content. It is not happening onchange of first dropdown value itself.

please revert back with some solution
