Write Array to Excel file

I have a perl file which gives 2 seperate arrays as output.

Array1={a,b,c}
Array2={x,y,z}

currently, these arrays are generated to a text file.It looks like,
Array1
a
b
c
Array2
x
y
z

But now, I would like to get them in a excel file like,
Array1 Array2
a x
b y
c z

Could anyone tell me how to write these arrays in to an excel file.

There are OTB TS Perl Modules for MS Excel. Navigate to "/iw-home/iw-perl/vendor/lib/Spreadsheet/WriteExcel/doc/index.html"
for some documentation, samples, etc...

you would be better served just writing them to a CSV which you can do with iwperl.

Are the arrays always the same size ? This is 5 lines of perl. Maybe.
