What is Verbalization?

Hi,

I was just reading the TS 7.2 dev guide, and I found a topic called Verbalization.
I read the whole section but I found it very confusing and I am still not clear that what exactly it is and what is the significance/usage of this.
Can someone explain me providing any example of your project?

Are you doing any LiveSite Development? Are you implementing any targeting. As you might have read, Verbalization is a concept which is related to targeting in Livesite development using SitePublisher. If you have read it, it is defined in setting the rules when targeting users based on some criteria.
