ccmail_htmlbody.tpl

Hi there,

As a part of developing the workflow, I need to send an email..I was able to send an email to a group...Using iw_solution_mail.ipl and have used ccmail_header.tpl and and ccmail_htmlbody.tpl and ccmail_textbody.tpl...But when the Emailsare received in the Microsoft outlook..It has a message to Download Picture. To help protect your privacy,Outlook has prevented automatic download of messages. But My Question is that all of our customers do not have the ability to download pictures...So this could be a problem..So I modified the template with no images and only text and links. But then it doesnot download the css...automatically?

Can someone suggest how can i overcome this issue?

Thanks in Advance

HTML Mail formatting is ill-defined, inconsistently rendered by different mail Clients and have serious portability issues.

So, if you have to support numerous (or simply unknown) e-mail Clients - use text mail. Seriously.
If you have to support only Outlook (as a corporate standard, etc), you'd have to adjust your formatting and
possibly recipient's' mail Client settings. Whatever the case, keep it simple, do not use scripting and use
inline styling with Tags' style attribute instead of CSS. Make sure that lines are not too long, use \n liberally

Thanks for the reply...

I used "inline styling with Tags' style attribute instead of CSS" But then the size of the email changed from 14KB to 43KB.So the size would also be the issue...So can someone please suggest how can i overcome this issue...Without increasing the sizze?

Thanks in advance

Try to leverage the following little sample, see how that works. Note the complete absence of the Header Tag.
Note also that the Style Tag right after Body is not a typo, that's been done deliberately[php]

<br> .title {font-size:22px; font-weight:bold; color:#336600; font-family:arial;}<br> .subTitle {font-size:18px; font-weight:normal; color:#666666; font-style:italic; font-family:arial;}<br>
