Teamsite & Samba

We're running TeamSite 6.7.1 SP1 on Solaris X and use Samba to transfer files into workareas. However we noticed that unlike the "import" command, the files moved by Samba do not show today's date as the modified date. Is there a way to change this behavior so any file copied via Samba has the modified date in TS of when it was copied over? (not when it was created)

Run touch on the files before copying them? ;-)
I haven't tried it - but look at section 8.1.1.3 in http://oreilly.com/catalog/samba/chapter/book/ch08_01.html and see if that helps.
