Adding an AD user to TeamSite

Hi,

We are trying to add a user(y) existing on Active Directory to TeamSite. His user id was previously assigned to some other user named X. Later they assigned the same user id to Y. When we access the user details using AD everything looks fine. However, when we try to add the user from TeamSite admin it still returns the old name X. Please let me know how we can resolve it.

Check the CLT manual and Support site KB articles regarding the use of iwidmap

I ran iwidmap with both user ids and deactivated & activated the corresponding store, per the documentation. But I still see the same behavior. User ids are not getting updated.

Without knowing the details of what you are doing and what you are seeing, I don't think anyone can really help you too much more from the forum end. You should probably open a case with Support and then update this thread when you get a resolution.

Created a support ticket. The solution was to clear cache of users using some URL interwoven provided and then to restart the services.

Can you share the details of the URL provided?

Sure. The URL is http://hostname/iw-cc/command/iw.base.caches

On that page they had me flush the user cache.

Interesting thread . This cache thing might be indeed related to some weird behavior for some users (name disappearing in last access when deleted and removed from the system,etc.).
We are using ldap authenticating ,and import of AD users trough ldap import (iwldapsync).
This direct editing of /conf/roles/tsusers.xml is still possible.

we sync users from LDAP nitely where as part of the process we issue iwldapsync.

We don't want Teamsite to run the command as it seems to be doing at arond 6:30AM daily.

how can we disable it?
