Hi All,

I am using TS 6.7.1, How do i identify if metatagger is installed. If it is installed any way to enable or disable. Need a quick way to find if MT is on this server.

On windows look in control panel -> services (2 MT entries)

For Unix there will be an entry in /etc/init.d/

I check /etc/init.d/ folder and i see no entries of Metatagger. Is this sufficient to say Metatagger is not installed on this server ?

But I see File > Tag and when select a file for file>tag the form appears. Please Advice.

it may be something like /etc/init.d/iw.mtstart

(I do not have MT on a Unix box so I cannot tell)

Nope, ls doesn't show any file with "mt" ....

I do not think it is installed. That being said I do not have MT for Unix so I cannot tell for certain.

It's actually /etc/init.d/iw.mtserver and /etc/init.d/iw.mtservletd
If these Files are not in the /etc/init.d - MT was *probably* not installed

That is the hard questionto answer, it is in MTHOME/etc, since you do not know IF MT is installed, you really cannot look for it.

You can run

sudo find -name metatagger.cfg -print
