I have requirement like if I save DCR it should take extension as .dcr automatically.

It is kind of a odd requirement, but you can always use Form API to have autonaming on the DCR names and concatinate the .dcr in your file name. You can can do it on onSave event. That being said, we might wonder what is need of such requirement? DIdn't you tell your PL or PM that DCR wouldn't get mixed with any files and they are easily recognized just because they no not carry any extensions which make them unique.
We do not understand the logical need of having a extension for DCR.

BTW, you really should consider using a .xml extension rather than a .dcr

When you use a standard extension then other tools will handle them correctly
