setVisible issue Firefox

Hi all,

I have an issue with the IWItem.setVisible on containers.

When i use setVisible function to show/hide a container, there is a layout problem on Firefox, the container is displayed with a smaller size (around half of table width).

With IE it works fine.

Any ideas?

Welcome to DevNet. Can you specify which version of TeamSite and which version of FF? Also can you reduce the issue to a minimum case and post that too?

The code is very simple.

On ItemChange of a dropdown list a function uses setVisible(true) to show the container, hidden previously through setVisible(false).

{
container.setVisible(true);
}

That's because of a different interpretation of the box model in Firefox, since the doctype of TeamSite forms uses quirks mode in IE and their CSS is tailored to fit that model. You may be able to fix it with custom.css in the web/formspub folder in the UITK.. maybe.
