Hi, Which file will list total teamsite users till now. Is it /opt/iw-home/conf/roles/tsusers.xml or any other file ?Please advice. Thanks, Stal
What do you mean by "till now"?tsusers.xml (TS 6.7.x and later) will list all the currently registered TS users. It doesn't provide any history of users who were registered in the past and no longer registered now - nor does it provide any indication of when any user last logged into TeamSite nor whether they are currently logged into TeamSite.
You can use CLT : 'iwrecentusers' which will display list of users who have logged on since the last time TS server was started.
If I need to know all the users before (TS 6.7.x) how do i check ?Is there any limit on licensing of users ?
iwhome/conf/roles/{master,admin,editor,author}.uid
Before 6.7.x you would examine the contents of iwhome/conf/roles/{master,admin,editor,author}.uid to get a complete list of users (and their assigned roles). The licensing of users on such systems tended to be divided between what were called "power users" and "non-power users" - and the definition of those terms tended to change over the years (and occasionally between different sales people) as to whether "Editors" were or were not "power users" - but, as stated, you need to check with your organization and your Autonomy Interwoven sales representative to get actual license information.
Thanks for your time and valuable information. So, if the editors are considered as non-power users do you think these no of editors will not be considered, if there is a check for over limit of users for license in our TS env.
