I am using a cgi callout in the datacapture form to load a asp
page.Now thorough this asp page i am accessing the dcr elements and setting there values through JavaScript.

But when i am evaluating the dcr form through "eval" function
it is not working.Is it because of some security problem.
The same thing works in windows.
Teamsite 5.5.2 is installed on Solaris.

Since you mentioned Solaris, I wanted to know if you are using any thrid party tool for running ASP on solaris machine?

Before we get into trying to resolve, we need to see if you are able to run ASP on Solaris. Default it would not but if youa re using some thrid party tools it will. Default ASP runs on Windows so maybe that's why it is working on your windows server easily.

No we are not using any third party tools for the asp pages.

The ASP pages are running on the NT m/c which is in the same network.And we have done the virtualization through proxy remapping on the solaris machine.
So through my callout i am calling the asp page on NT.From that page i get the values on to the dcr.

Perhaps, if you can reduce the code to a simple example you could post the code that you are referring to. I'm not quite sure what it is that you are 'eval'ing and how it is "not working"?

Is it the ASP virtualization that's no longer working - or is there something else that's no longer working?

handleselection() function is called on the cilck of the submit
button on the asp page which has got questions and answers listed on it.
I have to get the answers back to the "read only" field "answer"in the DCR.
Here in my code i am evaluating the form name.

I am calling the asp page through an ipl file .And i am passing the variables like iw_form_name etc. into the URL of ASP
page.

The same code works fine in the NT m/c but sometimes it
gives the Access Denied problem.
But in Solaris there is no response.

I am kind of facing the same problem. The only difference is that I am using JSP. Did you resolve this issue
