Max number of files in a WorkArea

We are using TS 7.1 on Unix platform. CPU:- 24

The question is what is the max number of files that a single Workarea can have ?

Is there a limit. We are using NAS architecture.

There is no file limit per directory. However, in Unix there is a limit per partition, is depends on the number of pre-allocated iNodes.
With your NAS you may or may not have an ability to dynamically change partition's iNodes number, check corresponding Admin manuals.

TS will automatically freeze your Content Store if iNode count is low. iw.cfg "disklow_knodes" parameter defines the threshold, see
TeamSite Administration Guide.
