error in rendering a page created using a custom page type that uses .net controls

Using Teamsite 7.2.1 and LSDS 7.2.1.
The LSDS runtime is on Windows 2003 with IIS6 and .net 3.5.1 SP1.

We are trying to create a custom page type that uses .net controls, however, when we created a page from such a page type, its not getting rendered in the run-time. Attached is the what the custom page type part of
the pagetype-config.xml looks like.

The xsl file is in place and the build is running fine, however a page created from above mentioned page type/layout is not being rendered at the runtime,
an error message is thrown saying "An error has occured please go back" . Attached is the chunck of livesite runtime log which shows the 'RenderingException' being thrown.

did you add your paget type to the runtime configuration?

it's is not something that is deployed by the deployment workflow
