Select option missing from drop down in DCR

Hi,

I have dropdown in DCR which is populated from database with help of formapi. During new DCR, I get the select option included in drop down.

But when I try to edit the saved DCR, the Select option is not included in the list. Could any one help to let me know, if any thing needs to be done, while editing the saved DCr.

Did you modify your cfg file to include select option after you created initial few DCRs?

Are you using an inline - or FormAPI with a callServer to populate the select list?
It sounds like you are using the latter when you should probably be using the former - unless the select list contents are based on one or more other fields being populated in the DCR? If that's the case, you need to make sure that the code that invokes the callServer is called both for new and existing DCRs - without seeing the DCT and associated FormAPI code it is difficult to provide anything more in terms of a detailed response.
