Thanks Nipper. The perl complier has an issue interpreting the literals "<" and ">" when I use your suggestion[PHP]my $start = "<" . "![CDATA["; my $end ="]]" . ">";[/PHP]Any tips for getting round this?
You are missing the point. What are you trying to wrap in CDATA ? Do not put CDATA in the TPL, it will be stripped out. If you want to wrap BLAH in a CDATA theniwpt_output($start);iwpt_output("BLAH");iwpt_output($end);all within a Perl tag

I do not think so. Windy is using template in XML Format. Therefore, it must be well formed.No matter how you slice it, blah-blah < blah-blah is malformed.Bracketing perl Tag body in the CDATA will fix that. Within that you can now output anything,CDATA Fragments including
