Using InsertAsset() method to insert assets.

Hi,
i am using the InsertAsset() method to insert assets into Mediabin automatically.
The method has the following syntax:
string InsertAsset_UNC (
string path,
string assetName,
string containerID,
string taskID,
MBRunTimePrimitives[] rtpPrimitives,
int codePage
bool bWaitOnJob
);
My query is as to how can i get the containerID and taskID for the assets as i cant get any methods in MediaBin API.
And i have to migrate images into MediaBin from another server.
Does my approach seem feasible?

Yes,Am planning to use MediaBin scriptmodel API. If i could have a look at your scripts, it will be very helpful as i can get a headstart on how to go about it .

Attached is a script that will tet you going.

It is written in vb and basically does the following,

1. provides a ui to browse a file system
2. allows you to filter the files found in 1 above,
3. Ingest the files filtered in 2 above into containers created based on the path the assets found.

Let me know if you have any questions on the script.

Thank you very much for your script. Well you have used VB here and this will require creating an interface. This is not exactly our requirement. If you have done any scripts in java(web services API), it will be very helpful .
