I'm looking for some feedback: is anybody here running OpenDeploy 7.1 with TeamSite 6.7.2? Specifically, i'm looking to upgrade from my current OD 6.2.0 install, but i probably don't have the time and means to also upgrade my TeamSite to 7.1

If anybody is running this config - any info would be appreciated. The compatibility matrix for OD 7.1 says it will run with TS 6.7.2, but i'd love to hear as many real world stories as possible.

Opendeploy 7.1 has fixed few bugs ,you have the advantage of it. I believe there isn't any known issues till now of having a higher version of Opendeploy with Livesite too.

Hi,
I am not using such a setup ,i am using a bit older version of the product.
If you are using Opendeploy just for the deployment of the contents to web or app server or to the database, the version of Opendeploy doesn't matter.

I would upgrade both OD and TeamSite to 7.X. It is not a good idea to upgrade OD alone. It is mentioned in the installation doc.

Thanks for the info, but i can't seem to find this in the docco - i'm looking at "OpenDeploy Instalation Guide Version 7.1 Document Revision 01 December 2009". The only section i can find that discusses this scenario is the section titled "Upgrading to OpenDeploy 7.0 but not TeamSite 7.1.0", which details the extra steps needed to get DAS working with this config.

I also looked in the Release Notes for OD 7.1, where it says "OpenDeploy 7.1.0 is compatible with TeamSite 7.1.0, 7.0.0, and 6.7.x.".

If you have any furthur information on this, i'd be *very* interested in hearing from you, either here or via pm. I'm due to start looking into upgrading openDeploy next week and i was hoping to go straight to 7.1
