Deploy Config Issue

Hi All,

First Let me explain you the scenario,
We have one master deploy config file in odhome/conf/some directory,and we are creating deploy config file dynamically on the basis of master file in odhome/conf/somedirectory folder.
Now there is request to change the loaction of dynamically created deploy config file outside the odhome/conf.
I just want to clarify whether this is possible,we can change the location of dynamically created deploy file but whenever I try to refer that in odscript, it is giving error that Deploy Config file not found.

AFAIK, all deployment configurations must reside under od-home/conf directory. You can further have sub-directories under it.

No - cannot be done.
As much as I dislike the idea of generating OD conf files like you indicate you are doing, you could generate them into ODHOME/conf/tmp/ (a new directory) and run them from there.

od-home is the location you installed OpenDeploy in. For Unix you can read the file /etc/defaultodhome or /etc/defaultod60home

For DOS it is an environment variable.
