Hello Experts,I want to use OOTB import functionality of Teamsite, and files should be imported to a particular location. After that files should be deployed to production area.I have done this using import URL command (iw.ccstd.import?vpath) but the problem with this it is working from CCStd and not from CCPro. Because CCPro does not initiate a workflow on importing a file. Please give your expert thoughts.TS 6.7.2 SP2Thanks in advance.
Have you tried standard Import Widget? It's documented, supported etcInterwoven® User Interface CustomizationGuide, Chapter 9 Using URL Commands, File URL Commands, Command "Import".Note that Import URL Command has a "done_page" Parameter, you can use it to call your own CGI/JSP upon Import completion, start WF and whatnot
Thanks for your quick response. I was thinking so but what i found that without giving "done_page" parameter it is working fine in CCStd. And in CCStd after importing file it goes to Tagging screen that is not required so through customization tagging screen is skipped. But if this URL command called from CCPro then it goes to the tagging screen that is strange behavior and also it has different Button showing in the tagging screen. That seems to be an issue with TS.What would be best approach for importing external file into teamsite:Through the DCT (it would be helpful to manage information of imported files). OrThrough OOTB import functionality. Please give your expert thoughts. Thanks
Note that "done_page" Parameter is optional. Without it window is simply closed, in my CCPRO experience anyway. As to the "best"approach - it all IMO depends on the requirement/design. Other things being equal, I prefer to use OOTB instruments. However, allthese considerations are trivial. Perhaps if you provide more details we may have more "pointed" discussion.
Yes "done_page" parameter is optional and as you said without this window is simply closed that is true with URL command "import". But i tried to use CCStd OOTB import url "http://ts-server/iw-cc/command/iw.ccstd.import?vpath=****/xx/x" from CCPro so that CCStd GUI would shown to the user. But it goes to Tagging screen and Tagging screen look different than CCStd tagging screen.
Since CCStd and CCPro are distinctly different interfaces, are you really that surprised that using something designed for CCStd doesn't look the same when it's run from within a CCPro context?Feel free to submit a case with Support, but I wouldn't expect anything to be done about it for a while (if at all)
Hello Boris,How can pass the variables/parameter to done_page (xyz.jsp)? I need to get name of the files imported to TS (using OOTB import functionality) on my custom done_page url. Thanks,
