Teamsite 672 SP2 Configuration Issues

Hi,

I had installed Teamsite 672 on our sandbox and migrated one branch from our dev content store and everything worked well. I was reading the SP2 release notes
and realized that there were issues/bugs in 672 which were fixed in the SP2 release. So, I went ahead and installed 672. But then our DCT's failed to work.

I saw in the documentation that the all within a need to be put into tags. I did that and it worked. But we have too many templates to fix
and also different JavaScript's that the datacapture.cfg files refer to also need to be fixed due to the change in DTD. I am afraid we will not be able to implement this changes.

I need to know if there is some way of configuring backward compatibility in teamsite 672 SP2 so that we don't have to change our DCT's and related JavaScript's.

Please Advice.

The request is to advise which may be responded to with advice - sorry, can't resist.

I have not worked with tabs in DCTs (personally, I think they're a dubious UI for a DCT) so I cannot comment on what will/won't work with respect to tabs.

You say that your onSaveValid() handler doesn't work anymore - what have you done to try to debug it? - I'd recommend distinct alerts between every line of code - e.g.:

function OSVhanlder() {
    alert("1");
some = line_of_code();
    alert("2");
another = line_of_code();
    alert("3");
    ...
}

It's annoying to have to do this, but it's often the most direct way to finding the line(s) that are causing problems.

That's about the only advice I can offer given the lack of information presented.
