Hi,

I have installed Teamsite 6.7.2 SP2 Patch1 on our sandbox environment. We have been using preprocessors CLT from Metatagger to populate metadata while tagging
DCRs. This does not seem to be working with the New TaggerUI. There are no error messages either. The Metatagger CLT perl script is not being called at all.

I did not see any information pertaining to this in any of the documentation. Please suggest a workaround.

I would also like ot know if there is someway we could use the Original/old Tagger UI [metadatacapture.dtd] for multiple files tagging.

Without seeing your code, it's difficult to guess what might be wrong with it - I'm not sure about MetaTagger, but if you're just using TeamSite, the use of the new TagUI is purely optional at this point - if you use the IWHOME/local/config/datacapture.cfg - you're using the old tagger.

Hi, thanks for the response. the TagUI has become mandatory in the case of multiple files tagging. Its not optional anymore like it used to be. Only in the case of single file tagging you could set the "iw.tagUI.SingleFileUI" parameter to "OLD" so that it would use the old TagUI [datacapture.cfg], but it uses the next gen TaggerUI by default for Multiple Files tagging. And at our setup here we always have multiple files to tag [as part of our workflow]. Please let me know if there is workaround to get the Multiple File tagging also to use the old taggerUI / datacapture.cfg

Aslo, the Preprocessor / CLT from metatagger works with the old tagUI but is not even invoked by the new TaggerUI. The new taggerUI i believe, cannot use Preprocessor CLT's, instead there is a "tagEngineConfig" attribute in the .cfg file in the \tagui\ruleset60\ folder. This file uses FormAPI with a new datacapture6.0.dtd. I tried to follow the example they had given in the documentation but it wont work.

Any help will be greatly appreciated. THANKS!
