Throwing CSException for getClient method in CSFactory

Hi All,
I'm getting CSException while using getClient method in CSFactory. So please help how to resolve this exception.

Well you have given little details so helping will be tough. You probably should supply versions, environments and what you have done already to trouble shoot.

My call to getClient looks like this

csClient = csFactory.getClient(sessionString, Locale.getDefault(), application, (String) null);

application is a string like "getJobListing" or something unique to our environment but I don't think its value is important.

Have you verified that everything is non-null?

Its been a while since I've dealt with this issue, but....

1) make sure the values of the parameters are what you expect. Print out the username and make sure it is what you want it to be.
2) Check your properties file.
From the CSSDK Doc:

serverName - The TS server to connect to. If null or empty string, the value in the defaultTSServer property in the Content Services Server's cssdk.cfg file will be used. If that value isn't set, the Content Services Server will assume that the desired TeamSite server is the same machine as the Content Services Server.

Are you using SOAP or local?
