Hi All,
I'm trying to display the items of a dcr in the content xml into the appearance xslt. Some where I'm missing the proper syntax that Im not able to display it.

Attached is the code snippet I tried.

Can someone suggest me on this.

I can't see any obvious error. I would suggest either using the component preview functionality, which shows you the datasource coming through, or use the following tag in your appearance XSL to print it out yourself, so you can figure out where your XPath went wrong.

Oh wait, there it is. You're using apply-templates when there's no template defined for the Title tag. There's no directive in there trying to actually print anything out. Change "apply-templates" to "value-of" and your title should get printed.

I tried your suggestion, but no luck. Can you pl chek whether the below syntax is correct

root - root container
Content - Tab name
Form-Entry - Main container
Title - field name

Hi,
Try adding single quote instead of double quotes in the datum attribute
Datum[@ID='D02'].

I doubt single/double quote would make a difference. Preview the component (from the component editing screen) and post the XML that you get in the bottom left frame of that screen.

Gomathi was right. If you look at the appearance XSL, it's invalid markup. I'm surprised he was even able to save that. It looked like this:

<xsl:value-of select="/path/item[ID="D02"]" />

It would a cross post, but did anyone implement this? I have it working, but not 100% Perfect. I get the html as needed. I was trying to do some more formatting as mentioned in their html file.

So how would i get the Index of a node if i am doing div id's with faq-1, faq-2 and faq-3, how can i initilize a counter in appearance xsl?

Also did anyone tried implementing a whole css file a aparameter than just changing the css from the Appearance tab?
