Insert html in dcr nodes using perl

Hi,
My DCR contains a node like below

item name="Product_Description"

and the value of it is
<p>This drill and tap set is used to precisely machine the concentric holes needed for mounting K Connector® in housings. This is the kit to use when stress relief contacts (also known as sliding contacts) are not being used.</p><li>Drill Part No: B14094 </li><li>Tap Part No.: 783-255 <p>If you are using stress relief contacts, K110-1, K110-2 or K110-3, order the 01-108 Drill & Tap Set instead.</p></li>

My problem is that i am trying to replace some words in the above text, and because it contains html text, it is not able to replace the text instead it is removing whole text and printing empty node.

I am using node->set_inner_xml
Is there any alternative for it.

please help me.

Are you trying to say you just want to change the text but html tags should remain at the same place in the xml node?

Yes, it should replace the text and the html tags should remain in place in the xml node

This is the regular expression i am using in my perl code above to find and replace text.
$check =~ s/FindText/ReplaceText/gsm;

The problem is when i input some link to find in the find Text, for example
it contain something like /en-Us/products/abcd.aspx in the find box and
/en-GB/technologies/abcdefg.aspx in the replace box
Then it is not able to replace as it contains slashes(/)

Can any one help me.

Hi,

Sorry that the above regular expression is working fine for finding URLs.

The actual problem i identified is that when the dcr nodes contain replicants, it is not able to parse the nodes in the replicant.

since I am using
$check = encode_entities($check);
$node->set_inner_xml("$check");

The encode_entities function is swallowing the nodes inside the replicants and corrupting the DCRs.

please help me.
