i need to append the parameters(language) from DCR to the page url for referring to a locale specific page.

Hi,
There are several ways of doing this.
One of the way is to read the DCR and in your XSL get the value of the language in a variable and you can append this variable to the concerned page link.
You can modify as per your business needs.
