using image of another workarea

hi all,
i want to use the image in a workarea into another workarea.
i know i can copy the image and deploy in the other workarea and use it but i want to use that image through original workarea only.

Any suggestion??

Add more information on how you mean to use this image ?

Is it referenced in the template ? That means you need the cross branch browser.

You will also need to learn to use the proxy settings in iw.cfg to allow the image to be visible during preview.

Finally, you have to figure out how this will work when the changes are pushed live.

Are you talking about workareas on the same branch or workareas on different branches?

What type of pages you are generating is it .html|jsp|asp|aspx

and are you using database for storing images or image path?

1)i am using the workareas under same only.
2)the database is also same and image is html format!

If the image is in one workarea on the branch, and you want to use the image in another workarea on the same branch - try doing a Get Latest in the other workarea.
