&getEditionTimeSorted

I was editing a Perl module that was coded long time back, to do some customizations.
I came across something like this.

($var1, $var2) = &getEditionTimeSorted( $branchName, 25 );

I couldnt get any clue of what the &getEditionTimeSorted is.
It is not referenced anywhere else. Could someone tell me what this is?

It must be a custom perl module.

Look in the beginning of the script for

use SOMETHING:OMETHINGELSE

Post what you see if you cannot figure out which is the custom. You can also look for SOMETHING/SOMETHINGELSE.pm in the iwhome/iw-perl folder structure (should be under site/lib but may have been put in vendor/lib)
