Issue while Browsing Mediabin Asset within DCR

Hi all,
I am facing an issue while browsing specific pdf residing in Mediabin. The size of this pdf is 4.9 MB (I am not sure if that is the problem). When I browse this pdf, MediaBin server goes toss (with cpu utilization 100%) the pdf takes very long time to get copied into Teamsite. I am able to browse other pdfs even of larger size successfully. I have tried comparing properties of the assets but nothing seems to be wrong there.
Env:
Windows Server 2003
MB 4.6.2
TS 6.7.2
Any pointers are really appreciated.

Hi,
Please check the concerned pdf whether it has been made with the option 'Fast Web View' on YES.
Please note that MediaBin does not like the PDF option called "Fast Web view". It should always be NO.
Hope it might be the issue.

Have compared 2 pdfs and it seems that the property you mentioned "Fast Web View" is the culprit. It is set to "Yes" for the pdf which is having problem while browsing within Teamsite.
I have tried opening the same pdf (Fast web preview as "YES") in MB web client and it opens up fine. It only has problem when being browsed through Teamsite DCR.
Is this correct behavior? If Mediabin has problem with this property, should the preview within web client work?

Hi,
We faced this problem and contacted the support team and this is what they came up with that TS will not work properly and we will not be able to browse the asset in DCR level when this property is set as yes.
We tried to ascertain the real fact behind this but in vain and so now we only take care that this value is set as No.

Have conveyed the message to users regarding this property and got response that they have used pdfs with "Fast Web View" enabled.
They are checking few things on their side, so awaiting for that.
