These tasks are in a loop and always show up in iwtrace.log. None of these tasks appear in the workflow screen.
I want to remove this job from the system. How can I get jobID from the task ID using CLT ?

Again, I can get tasks owned by a particular workflow jon but can not get job owning a particular task.

One of two things, maybe a null file called iwperl, try running this from a DOS shell:

C:/Interwoven/TeamSite/iw-perl/bin/iwperl -c C:/Interwoven/TeamSite/local/config/wft/microsites/microsite_deploy_to_Prod.ipl

Second, the user may not have permission to start the script, they *may* need the ability to log on locally to that server to execute a process with their ID.

To be frank, I have not tried it. So I cant comment. I had even searched this form and no one had given a sample of use for the CLTs mentioned above.

I am looking for an example on how iwquerytasks work myself ... then finally I figured it out... Basically, you will need to create an xml file first as a query input. The xml file will need to follow the DTD defined in the CLT reference Guide as provided along with the iwquerytasks. As a simple example, I created the following xml file (i.e. input.xml):

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<taskquery>
<ownedby v="tsuser"/>
</taskquery>

Then I can use this xml file as a query input. In the command prompt I type in the following command:

$ /iw-home/bin/iwquerytasks < input.xml

This will provide a list of task IDs that is owned by the user "tsuser".

You should be able to create a more complicated xml file to refine your query.

I feel all those tasks are pointing to different jobs, not a single job. I may be wrong at this.

However, you can try with shell script... modify below as per your comfort

cd ${IW_HOME}/bin

for NAME in $NAMES; do
./iwgetwfobj $NAME | ----> grep for above activetask ids <---- | >> Jobs_with_Active_Tasks.txt
done

you can also write to compare with your tasks shown in logs with above active tasks, to filter out jobs and use iwrmjob on them
