Automatic DCR Name

We have a requirement to automatically name the dcr when the user first saves it. The dcr name and directory need to be taken from selections in the dcr. For Example: In the dcr the user has selected region - "Eastern" and state - "PA". The dcr name is "PA" and it is stored in the "Eastern" directory. The user should not have the option of changing the name. Has anyone done this or have any suggestions?

Interwoven, this seems to be a pretty common requirement.

You can do this with FormAPI.

One of the OOTB templating examples under 'userscript' does automatic naming of the DCR based on fields - I cannot remember which one it was (I think it started with a 'c') but I used it once and it worked very nicely as an example to base my code on.
