Synchronise(or share) folders in different workareas

I would like to know whether a folder can be synchronised (or shared) by different workareas?

For example,
if a file import to "folder1" in "workarea A", the file would also appear to "folder1" in "workarea B".

If you submit the file in "folder1" in "workarea A" and then do a Get Latest in "workarea B" - then the file will appear in "workarea B". and it will be a virtual copy (i.e. not using any additional disk space on the server) until such time as the file gets modified in one or the other workarea (and then a virtual copy again once submitted)

Alternatively you can use iwcp, iwupdate, or File > Copy to copy the file yourself from workarea A to workarea B - but then you have two distinct files with the same name in two workareas -- generally not as good a solution.

Alternatively, you might be able to put some sort of trigger script together to do this for you automatically, but frankly I think that's more work than it's worth.
