How to use userops_custom.xml

Hi,

TeamSite : 7.2
I have added a custom link in TeamSite UI and i want to restrict it as per user role. As per documentation I need to make an entry in userops_custom.xml file.
roles_custom.xml was used in older version and new version use this file. Even the reference folder doesn’t have any example related userops_custom.xml. If anyone has worked on this please help me.

On it's own "userops_custom" does not restrict anything. <opertaion> Tag is all you have there.

Entries that you've placed in this file will after rebuild appear (under their respective "display-names")
in Administration - Manage Roles - Edit Role Screen. Category is "Custom User Operations".
From there you can assign Roles' "rights" to these custom Operations.
