Can't preview on generation, but content displays on preview site

Using Teamsite 6.7.2 / Windows 2003

Just made some changes to a subbranch name in Teamsite so that the name includes a hyphen. Changed all EA's on templates. But now, if I make a change to content in a template, and try to generate a file containing the content, no preview displays on generation and it used to. However, the change DOES display on our preview site.

Any thoughts on what might be wrong? I thought about changing the iw.cfg, however...

I made the same changes on our beta site, and I was able to preview while generating. No changes were made to the iw.cfg on beta. I don't have direct access to either box, which makes it difficult to troubleshoot the issue.

Chances are, you have not modified Proxy Server (eg, Virtualization) settings to reflect modified Branch name

Virtualization in IIS has changed - as stated, I can see the content changes on our preview site. Is there another proxy in Teamsite that might need to change?

Sorry, I'm still new to some aspects of Teamsite, and how it's configured at my location. I've asked those responsible for the configuration, and they say they don't know why generation isn't showing a preview.

Take a step back. Does anything preview ? If you click on blah.html does it show ? What type of file is it ? HTML ? PHP ? ASP etc..

You'd have to talk to somebody who knows how to check/modify iwproxy remapping and has access to do it

Did you mean the iw.cfg?

I made all the same changes to our beta site, but didn't change the iw.cfg there, and content previews on generation.

In the meantime, I'll try searching for more info about proxy remapping.

OK, if you cannot view a page in TeamSite without preview then preview will not work either. Someone has to go 1 of two things, either configure TS to render ASPX from the workarea or to use iwproxy to redirect the calls to your preview environment.

Either one is likely above your pay-grade, so I hope you have someone on sight who knows TS better than you.

Changed the iw.cfg and that fixed the problem on the production location... That doesn't explain why we didn't need to make this change on the beta location and it previews fine on generation.
