embed applet in livesite page issue
sanoboy
Hi all,
Has anyone embed applet in the livesite page?
I implement this using the same method with embed applet in html.
What i did is put the class file in the same directory level with the page file. But it always give me class not found exception.
How did you process this kind of applet? Is there any other method to implement this in livesite?

There's not an out-of-the-box component for applets (that I know of) but it shouldn't be too hard and it sounds like you're on the right track.
So your applet class is in a jar, and the jar is a resource in TeamSite? If not, one thing to remember is that external Java classes that you use for components are available in the LiveSite runtime classpath, but that doesn't mean they'll be available to the browser when an applet is loaded. You'll have to package a jar file that contains the applet and its supporting classes. If you put that .jar as a resource for your published site, along side .css and .js files, then it should work just fine.

yes, in teamsite i put the class file under assets/class/, then under the applet tag, i set codebase="$URL_PREFIX/assets/class" code="com.company.class", but it still gave me class not found exception when load the applet.
but if i put classes under
http://hostname
ort/iw-cc/
and set codebase="
http://hostname
ort/iw-cc" , code="com.company.class" it works properly.
but in livesite runtime, how can i process this? set the codebase and code?
if i use .jar file how do i set this kind of thing? thanks
