TAG to add metadata not working

TS7.1, Windoes Server 2003 SP2, OD7.1

I have created a new DCR and I am trying to attach metadata to this DCR using TAG link. This TAG link comes up when I click on properties link for a DCR.

WHen I click on TAG link I am getting the message

"There are no files to tag (perhaps files have been deleted)."

I have not attached any files to this DCR and I want to tag the DCR. Why am I getting such a message ? How can I add metadata to DCR using TAG ?

You could try different ways of getting at the tagging screen, as a debugging measure. In CCPro, either click the file's Properties link, then 'Tag' in the top right; or select the file and use the menu File > Tag.
