Custom Action Code Sample

Hi

Can anyone tell me where to find a code sample / manual for implementing a custom action in FileSite (v8.2.x).

To give you an idea of what I'm looking for, I want to add a custom action to the right-click popup menu of a tab / folder that executes some code (preferably .NET) or calls a web service. I have found the menu configuuration in the registry, but I am not sure how to hookup a custom action.
