Query about iw_system PT Tag

Hi ,

I have a question on iw_system PT Tag.

A PT tag is used in one of my Presentation Templates.

This tag is executing a perl file

While executing the perl file using the tag, with what user the

file in Tag gets executed.

Will it gets executed by "root" or by the User who logged into the TS.

I didn't get much help in PDF's on this.

Runs as logged-in user as far as I recall. That's easy to check, output special Vars $<, $> and/or getlogin() from the script

Well it depends on how it is being run. If you click preview/generate it will run as the logged on user.

If you have a generate content step in the workflow then it depends on what that step is running as. Often people use tsadmin or some such user to keep things consistent.
